Located near the village of Auvers, 5km from Carentan, at the base of the Cotentin Peninsula, La Porte Rouge is a large restored early-18th Century farmhouse estate (which once belonged to the Comtesse d'Auvers). At the end of a quiet country road and surrounded by landscaped grounds, gardens and fields, the main house is a fully-furnished two-story structure, with six bedrooms and three modern full bathrooms, forming one side of the traditional four-sided Norman farmhouse around a large central courtyard.

La Porte Rouge is available for weekly rental year round. It has the capacity to sleep 12 people (ten twin beds and one queen-sized bed).
